High St, Yiewsley UB7 – Mixed use new build

This development is on Yiewsley High St. It consists of a new build four storey main building and rear addition. It is a mixed use building with one large shop on the ground floor and under croft access to the rear. There are six flats to the upper floors.

Concerns were undermining the adjoining buildings and drainage.

The form of the structure was a hybrid of load bearing masonry/ steel frame. The floors were a combination of beam and block flooring and precast concrete planks. The roof was traditional timber cut supporting on steelwork and masonry walls.
